Disclaimer
TextKit is provided free of charge, "as is", for general-purpose text and data utilities. By using the tools you accept the points below.
Verify results that matter
The tools implement standard, well-documented specifications — the JSON grammar, RFC 4648 Base64, the SHA family, RFC 4122 UUIDs — and they are tested, but no warranty is given that every output is right for every input. If a result feeds a production system, a publication, or anything with money or safety attached, confirm it with an independent method first.
Security-sensitive use
Hashes and generated passwords come from your browser's cryptographic functions. Even so: a hash is not encryption, Base64 is not protection, and a generated password is only as safe as where you store it — use a reputable password manager. TextKit never sees your inputs, and equally cannot recover anything for you.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operators of TextKit are not liable for losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, these tools. External sites linked from articles are the responsibility of their own operators.
